Ultrasound Pictures!
Yay! The first pictures of the new baby! The first appointment went well. We heard the heartbeat. The due date is calculated to be November 7th. Charla will be receiving progesterone injections to reduce the risk of preterm birth. This picture is right side up. You can just make out the beginnings of an ear and eye sockets.

That is a really nice ultrasound... is it one of the 3-D ones? Charla's due date is EXACTLY one month after mine!!! So, I'll plan on going two weeks late and she can plan on going two weeks early. Ummm... never mind, I don't want two extra weeks after all.
Yep, the 3D kind. Strangely enough, they did most of their work in the normal mode, then just switched to this one to make a picture.
I guess it's really called a 4-D ultra sound since you can see the movement in real time and that is considered the 4th dimension. That makes sense that they would do most of the work in normal mode though, because you can't see inside the baby with the fancy mode, can you?
Yes, they call it 4D, but since this is a static print, it's only 3D.
